Ever since the first Pirates of the Caribbean came out in 2003 I've been a fan. Typically I'd go to each sequel to indulge of two hours packed with Orlando Bloom being completely drop dead sexy. When I heard a fourth movie was in the making I was thrilled all over again. When the trailer was released I was so disappointed to see Orlando and Kiera Knightly were nowhere to be found. On Stranger Tides wasn't at the top of my list of summer movies to see until I found out Australian model Gemma Ward was in it. Even better she plays a mermaid! If you were to ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up between the ages of three and six I would have told you a mermaid. Every Halloween I dressed up as one, I loved to swim and take baths, I even watched The Little Mermaid so many times I wore out the VHS tape to where it was no longer playable. I was completely convinced that being a mermaid was a legitimate career path. Tonight I went to Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and that childhood fantasy immediately returned when the 'mermaid scene' happened. Even though they're supposed to be seductive and deadly their long flowing hair and flawless complexion... I was in awe, but being eighteen years old I now realize that growing up to be a mermaid is just too unrealistic. Sigh. Also, it was definitely better than the second and third movies so I highly recommend seeing it!

This winter and spring I had been seeing a lot variations of the crochet tend with embroidered earrings. Up in Park City I've seen these long dangling embroidery floss and feather earrings in almost every shop I went in. They're typically priced between $20 - $50 (the ones I saw) and looked extremely easy to make. I've been meaning to make a pair for a while and instead of designing the videogame I'm supposed to be doing right now for school I decided to make a pair instead! To make it even better these cost me nothing because I had all the supplies at home and only took me about ten minutes to make!

(I didn't realize Starry Eyed didn't really work on this until now. Sorry.)

Delikate Rayne is an awesome new brand started by two sisters, Komie and Meg. They consider their line 'magical grunge glam' and I completely agree. Their collection is filled with black-and-white simple pieces full of asymmetric and innovative tees, sweatshirts, and dresses. Let's not forget how unique it is too. Never have I seen one shirt able to be worn so many completely different ways! SO SO COOL! You'll see exactly what I mean down below. Their clothing allows you to make a statement yet be creative and make each item your own.

Since I had absolutely nothing to do for spring break

I told my mom I was so desperate to go on a trip

Monday is my absolute favorite day of the week. It allows me to slowly ease into the hectic week that's always ahead of me. I'm able to stay up late Sunday night cramming in assignments before they're due or spending time with friends and family because I know the next morning I'm not going to have to wake up until 10:45am. I get to slowly waken happily to a sunny room and my current favorite song. Instead of arising much too early (daylight savings doesn't help either) and urgently rushing for the bus like I do every Tuesday and Thursday morning. I get to enjoy the whole fitness center to myself at 11:00am while I watch the latest Charlie Sheen story on E! News and read magazines. I get to come back and take a long hot shower and blast my music because my roommate is at school. And my most favorite part... I have the time to make a delicious breakfast before I'm off at 12:57pm to make it to the bus on time. Yesterday morning I made this breakfast pizza which was to die for. I highly recommend making it sometime. It's a special breakfast, one to treat yourself to every so often, because really who has the time to make homemade dough everyday? Not me.
